Cooking Instructions

Wash and peel the beans

Place in a blender and blend with the pepper and add a little water

After blending mix properly (I used a mortar to mix mine) and add the salt and maggi and mix well

Place a deep frying pan on fire and add the oil
- 5
Wait for it to get really hot and then using a spoon scoop the akara into the pan
- 6
Let it float up and then use a fork to pierce the akara balls one by one and turn(this is so the inside gets done properly)

Wait till it turns golden brown and remove.place in a sieve or newspaper to drain out the oil

Repeat till all the batter is finished

For the pap, empty the pap into a bowl, add water gradually till it's not too thick nor too watery

Place water to boil,once boiled pour gradually into the mixed pap until it thickens

Mix it well and add in the sugar Milo and milk (optional) and serve with the akara
