Extra crunchy Chinchin

What inspired my recipe is my tutor at my confectionery academy. She taught me the normal chinchin;but, I decide to experiment a bit and that made me realize ( more the water/milk(any is allowed) the crunchier the chinchin gets. Just to be clear, I used 1 cup of milk solution and 2 extra tbspoons of water.

Earl Grey Scones for the airfryer Earl Grey Scones for the airfryer
I was searching the internet one day and found this recipe. Converted it to ml and my family loved it. There is nothing I love more than to eat scones in the summer. But no one likes to heat up the home. I love my airfryer for this reason. I also have a confession sometimes I mess up the butter measurements and add way more than I should. Like 1 cup instead of half. What can I say, I am not a chef or a baker and found adding more butter was actually tastier and moister scone. Oopsy baking everyone. Katatonickat -

Moong Dal Halwa Moong Dal Halwa
It's usually made on festive occasions like Diwali, Holi etc. But, when you and your family members are foodies, then it can be made any day at your home. I learnt to prepare this halwa from my Mom. She's the best Cook in this world and this is my #favourite halwa recipe. The whole process of halwa takes a lot of work from yours hands as you've to continuously stir, stir and stir in order to avoid bumps in it and so that the mixture can be cooked properly throughout. The halwa can be made in non-stick pan or normal kadhai. I prefer non-stick pan as it would help in easy stirring and also for the smooth texture of the halwa. The Psychological Foodie -

Trivia: Ube halaya or halayang ube is a Philippine dessert made from boiled and mashed purple yam. Good Shepherds in Baguio, Northern Luzon part of the Philippines, makes the best Ube Halaya! You can use it for pastries and cake flavours. This is my first time to do frosting and rosette swirls :). some wants the custard on top of the cake, but in this recipe I want to make use of the Ube Halaya as frosting so I put the custard sandwiched between the cake 😊.used hand whiskers here.
