Ingredients

  1. Chicken cuts, seasoned with s&p
  2. 1large onion, sliced
  3. 4garlic cloves, crushed
  4. Potato marbles or regular, sliced
  5. Okra, sliced
  6. Green beans, sliced
  7. Cabbage leaves, halved
  8. 1 bunchBokchoy or Taiwan pechay
  9. 1/4chicken broth cube
  10. 1Leek, sliced
  11. 3-4 cupswater
  12. S&P to tase
  13. 1 TbspPatis or Fish sauce (use salt if none)
  14. 2 tbspCooking oil

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in pot, sauté garlic and onions

  2. 2

    Add seasoned chicken cuts and cover a few minutes. Flip and cover again.

  3. 3

    Add sliced chicken broth cube.

  4. 4

    When you see the chicken in its own juice you can then add water. Add the okra, beans and potatoes as well. Season with s&p. Bring to a boil.

    Lower heat and add the leafy veggies to the sides or top. Taste the broth and season with fish sauce/patis. Adjust accordingly to taste. Simmer a couple minutes more to cook veggies.

    Serve while hot with steamed rice. :)
