Pork and Vegetable Stir-Fry
I wanted to cook a vegetable side dish, which goes well with rice.
You can use pork offcuts, belly, or any part you like.

Cooking Instructions

Mince the ginger and the garlic. Cut the rest of the ingredients into 5 cm lengths.

Heat a pan, add sesame oil, and stir-fry the ginger and the garlic over low heat.

When fragrant, add the pork, season with salt and pepper, and continue stir-frying over medium heat.

When the colour of the pork changes, add the carrot, then the stems of the Japanese mustard spinach, then the leaf parts, and finally the Chinese chives (in order of the longest to shortest cooking times), then continue stir-frying.

When the vegetables are soft and wilted, drizzle on sake and soy sauce. Mix and continue stir-frying, then done. Serve onto a plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and enjoy.
