Stir Fried Pork and Cabbage with Ketchup and Miso

I won a drawing to be a product tester for Kagome brand ketchup, so I thought up this recipe. I was able to use up some leftover cabbage that was turning yellow. The color was covered up by the ketchup, and everyone fought over this dish at dinner.

I used a tomato ketchup from Kagome, but you can use any ketchup you like. For 2 servings. Recipe by ochikeron

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 150 gramsThinly sliced pork rounds
  2. A
  3. 1 tspSake
  4. 1 tspSoy sauce
  5. 1Grated garlic
  6. 300 gramsCabbage
  7. 2Green bell peppers
  8. B
  9. 2 tbspSake
  10. 1 tbspMiso
  11. 1 tbspKetchup
  12. 1 tspDoubanjiang
  13. 1 tbspSesame oil

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the pork into bite sized pieces, and season with the A. ingredients.

    Cut the green peppers into bite sized pieces. Cut the cabbage into 3-4 cm squares.

    Combine the B. ingredients.

  4. 4

    Heat sesame oil in a pan, and stir fry the pork. When the meat changes color, add the cabbage and peppers. When the vegetables slightly reduces in volume, add the sauce from Step 3. It's done when everything is cooked through.
