Ingredients

1hour 30 min
  1. For sambar
  2. 200 gror 1 big cup toor dal
  3. 1mid size chopped onion 🌰
  4. 2mid size chopped carrot 🥕
  5. 1small chooped potato 🥔
  6. 2mid size chopped tomato 🍅
  7. Salt 1/2 teaspoon haldi
  8. For tadka
  9. 3 table spoonghee
  10. 1 tea spoonjeera & mustard seeds
  11. 2 pinchhing some curry leaves 🍃
  12. 2 table spoonsambar masala & 1 table spoon garam masala
  13. 4t0 5 dry red chilli 🌶
  14. 1 tea spoonkashmiri red chilli powder
  15. 1 table spoontamarind pulp
  16. leavesSome fresh coriander
  17. For idli
  18. 1 cupsuji
  19. 1/2 cupcurd
  20. 3/4 cupwater
  21. Salt, 1 teaspoon eno powder
  22. 1 tea spoonjeera & mustard seeds
  23. leavesSome fresh coriander

Cooking Instructions

    Wash & soaked dal for 1/2 hour. After that in cooker add dal, salt, haldi powder, water & chopped veggies. Cook it for 15 min or 7 to 8 whistle.

    Now prepare to ready masala. In a tadka pan add ghee roast jeera, mustard seeds,dry chili & hing till cracked. Soak taramind in half cup of water.

    When dry spices roast add curry leaves,chilli powder, sambar & garam masala in it. Off the flame. Keep tadka aside. Open cooker lid & mashed the dal with hand blender.

    Now add tadka & tamarind juice in dal. Mix all ingredients proper. At last add some fresh coriander leaves in it,sambar is ready.

    For idli take 1 cup suji, half cup curd & 3/4 cup water. Mix them add salt also. With hand beater mix them. Now add jeera, mustard seeds and coriander leaves.

    Cover the bowl with plate for 15 min. In cooker add 2 cup water & put on the gas stove. Take idli stand grease it with oil. Now open the batter add 1 teaspoon eno in it & mix proper.

    Fill the batter in stand & put in heated cooker. Cover it with it's lid, without whistle. After 10 to 15 min check it with knife. If cook proper trun out from stand.

    Put all idlis in hot case. Now it ready for serve. Cheap & best combo food is ready.
