I thought of these snails for a bento during the rainy season.

When making the cuts in the sausage in Step 1, use a toothpick on the side of the sausage close to you to act as a stopper and prevent you from cutting all the way through. For 2 sausage snails. Recipe by Mayatan

Ingredients

  1. 3 smallWiener sausages
  2. 1Pasta (spaghetti)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the first wiener sausage in half, and put small and fairly deep evenly spaced cuts into each half. Cut the second sausage in half in the middle. Cut the third sausage in half diagonally.

  2. 2

Boil the sausage parts in hot water for about 90 seconds. Fry the spaghetti in a little oil, or bake it in a toaster oven until crispy.

  3. 3

When the sausage has cooled down enough to handle, wrap the cut sausage (1) around the cut in half sausage (2). Secure with a piece of uncooked pasta (spaghetti).

  4. 4

Fix the diagonally cut sausage with a piece of pasta as shown. GIven your snails some feelers with two bits of pasta to finish.

  5. 5

They're cute if you give them faces too.
