PORK CHOPS MARINATION
In a bowl, mix the rice wine, soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, and salt.
Pat dry the pork chops with paper towel.
Add the marination mixture to the pork chops and let it marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator. - 2
SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE
In a bowl, mix with water the cornstarch, Hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, Ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, rice wine vinegar, honey, and brown sugar. - 3
In a small cooking pot heat up vegetable oil and sesame oil. Stir-fry the garlic, ginger, and shallots.
Add the sauce, bring to a boil, lower the heat, and keep it hot until you need to use it. - 4
Heat up a grill or griddle. Mark and cook the porkchops on both sides.
Serve the pork chops with the sweet and sour sauce.
