Beef and Applewood bacon chilli in slow cooker

A simple pasta dish that everyone in my family loves.

This is the combination of several recipes and extensive trail and error. The leftovers are plentiful and are just as good if not better. Enjoy!

This is great for meal prep. It makes 8- 2cup servings and you can freeze a few servings for later in the month to mix up meals. Will keep for 30 days in freezer.

Serve as a main dish or a side. Spice it up by adding chopped/seeded jalapeno peppers as a garnish or incorporate into the cooking process.

1st chili batch of the year and decided to do something a little different than our norm. Used up another pound of the awesome homemade chorizo I had in the freezer and went with 1/4 cup of my own homemade chili seasoning (see my "chilly chili seasoning" recipe). The result was a delightfully spicy chili anyone could appreciate.

this is my first time making chili. I googled chili recipes and created with this one from my research. its been on for 7 hours now and is already great. I'm gonna top it with sharp cheddar cheese and serve with crackers.

This came about by a cold winter mountain day after Thanksgiving, and craving a nice warm soup. Unfortunately, due to allergies I cannot have store brought soup so I decided to try my hand at a beand and bacon soup, because I loved it as a child until I got deathly ill and developed allergens.

Once I found a recipe for Chili con Carne (Beef Chili) at Whole Foods. I had never made chili before. I prepared that chili and liked it, but over the years I made changes that made me like it even more.
