I come from a family of 8 so as a kid my mom liked to cook easy inexpensive dishes that went along way! Some how the beef cubes turned to hamburger meat, the noodles to brown rice..added celery and there ya have it-Mom's Hamburger Stroganoff!:) Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 lbground beef
  2. 1 canlarge cream of mushroom
  3. 3 cupsliced celery
  4. 1 cupsour cream
  5. 1cooked rice or egg noodles
  6. 3 dashsalt (to taste)
  7. 4 dashblack pepper
  8. 3 dashonion powder
  9. 2garlic powder

Cooking Instructions

40 mins
  1. 1

    Brown meat in a large skillet or pot.

  2. 2

    Drain grease.

  3. 3

    Add celery and cook about 2 minutes stirring frequently.

  4. 4

    Add large can cream of mushroom, salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder. Stir together & bring just to a slow boil.

  5. 5

    Reduce heat to low. Add sour cream stir well.

  6. 6

    Serve over rice or noodles.

  7. 7

    Enjoy!
