Ingredients

  1. Crust
  2. 1/4 cupsugar
  3. 1 cupflour
  4. 1/2 cupbutter
  5. Topping
  6. 1 cuppacked brown sugar
  7. 1/2 tspbaking powder
  8. 2 tbspflour
  9. 1/2 tspsalt
  10. 2egg
  11. 2 tbspmelted butter
  12. 1 cupraisins (can substitute with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, etc)
  13. 1/2 cupchopped pecans (can substitute other nuts or skor bits)
  14. 1 tspvanilla (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat Oven to 350°F

    Combine flour & sugar with melted butter

  3. 3

    Press into 8" square metal pan

  4. 4

    Bake for 15 minutes

  5. 5

    In a separate bowl combine the dry ingredients - leaving out the raisins and nuts

  6. 6

    Mix in egg and melted butter (vanilla)

  7. 7

    Fold in raisins and nuts (or substitutions)

  8. 8

    Pour over base

  9. 9

    Bake for 23-25 minutes or until top springs back

  10. 10

    Chill in fridge before cutting
