Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsflour
  2. 7 tablespoonsugar (adjust to taste)
  3. 2leveled tablespoon yeast
  4. Warm water
  5. 2eggs
  6. 6tablspoon vegetable oil for doughnuts mixing
  7. Vegetable oil for frying
  8. 2 tablespoonpowdered milk
  9. Halfteaspoon nutmeg

Cooking Instructions

    Test prove your yeast: Add warm water to the 2tablespoon yeast in a bowl and sprinkle with sugar. After some minutes the yeast would have been frothy or foamy. Then it's still very active

    Add the powdered milk and the 6 tablespoons oil together and place on heat to warm up. Don't allow to boil. Stir and drop from heat.

    Add the flour, sugar, tested yeast, eggs, powdered milk mixture and mix together using warm water to get a sticky dough

    Place the dough in a bowl to rise for 1 hr

    After 1 hr it would have risen well. Place on a clean smooth surface.

    Roll out to desired inches, using rolling pin. Work with more flour if the dough turns out too sticky.

    Cut out using doughnut cutter or round circle and allow to rise again for 10 minutes before frying.

    Add oil to deep fryer and fry the doughnuts on low heat to enable it cook through for 1 minutes each on both sides..

I would like to cooksnap this but why do you heat the vegetable oil with milk? Can I mix them in without heating up?
