I make this when my son and I are watching movies.

Kids got tired of plain old corn so I decided to try something a little different. The cheesy corn bread just tops it off!!

My first recipe post! My hubby-to-be had been craving corn chowder for a while so I decided to mix and match some different recipes and ingredients and make my own! I made it dairy free for my temperamental tummy, but didn't sacrifice the creaminess :)

I was given this recipe from a good friend of mine, and teaching colleague April Bieri. I was in charge of taking corn to Thanksgiving, and I thought this was a bland idea. In discussion with April she shared this amazing recipe to replace boring ol' corn. My dish was hit and the pan was empty.

This was my grandmothers recipe for corn fritters. Always loved them fried up in a pan. Thought I might go a little healthier rout and turn them into a waffle. They taste just a great!

I was asked to make these even though I never had before. I found a similar recipe, added sugar to taste and viola! I might even make these again despite the slight hassle!Things to think about:Be aware of the popping oil! of you're not careful you could burn yourself... (I did)When preparing this recipe, remember to include FREEZING time. I froze mine overnight and made then in the morning. Worked great! :chef
