Ingredients

  1. 6scant cups flour sifted
  2. 2 packagesyeast
  3. 2 cupsmilk
  4. 2 teaspoonssalt
  5. 6level tablespoons sugar
  6. 4 tablespoonsshortening

Cooking Instructions

    Dissolve yeast in small amount of warm milk

  2. 2

    Add rest of lukewarm milk salt and sugar

  3. 3

    Mix well and add all of flour

  4. 4

    When partially mixed add shortening melted

  5. 5

    Mix well with hands keep sides of bowl clean

  6. 6

    Turn on lightly floured board knead till dough is smooth and elasticity

    Cover let rise 2 to 4 hours till double in size

  8. 8

    When dough is light cut down to let gas escape

  9. 9

    Cover tightly place in refrigerator till ready to use

  10. 10

    Before baking form into rolls

  11. 11

    Place in greased pan spread top with melted butter cover let rise in warm place for 1 to 2 hours

  12. 12

    Bake at 425 for 15 to 20 minutes.
