Ingredients

  1. 3 quartChicken stock
  2. 4 tbspSalted butter
  3. 4 tbspAP flour
  4. 8 ozCelery
  5. 8 ozOnions
  6. 12 ozPotatoes
  7. 1 cupMilk
  8. 10 ozCorn
  9. 1 1/2 tspThyme
  10. 1Salt
  11. 1White/ or black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Mince onions, dicing potatoes and celery into bite size pieces.

    Sauté onions, celery, and potatoes for five minutes in the butter.

  3. 3

    Add in flour making sure to brown and not burn, stir another three minutes.

  4. 4

    Add chicken stock, make sure to get all the flour from the sides and bottom of the pot.

    Let simmer for 15-20 minutes.

    Whisk in milk, and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  7. 7

    Add corn, and seasonings to taste.

  8. 8

    Finally, let simmer for ten minutes and serve hot.
