Spicy Ofe Achi with Assorted Goat Meat

Ofe Achi or achi soup is an easy breezy Nigeria soup recipe that is commonly prepared with a variety of vegetables by the Eastern people of Abia, Imo and some part of Akwa Ibom states in Nigeria.
It's super easy to make but still very tasty.
It is considered as a sort of Native.
Achi is the main ingredient and is a firm of thickner and that's where the soup gets the name from...
It can be eaten with Semo, Garri or pounded yam.

Cooking Instructions

Wash and combine the meat and stockfish I one pot and season with garlic, salt, pepper, oinions, and place on fire.

Cook Meats till tender, then add enough water to cook soup thru, allow to boil.

Add ogiri, Uyaka and Africa nut meg Spice, crayfish, smoked fish, pepper and remaining oinions stir and cook for 5 mins

Add palm oil to the pot, add remaing cube and fresh pepper and cook for 10mins

Add grounded achi, stir and adjust the thickness by adding water. (Only if necessary)

Let the soup simmer on medium heat.

Lastly add prewinkles and Uziza leaves allow to simmer on low heat for 5mins.

Achi soup is ready.Put off heat and serve with Pounded yam, Fufu, Semo or wheat.
