Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cupwarm Water
  2. 1 tbspYeast
  3. PinchSalt
  4. 4 tbspSugar
  5. 1/3 cupMilk
  6. 1Egg
  7. 3 tbspButter (melted)
  8. Whisker
  9. 3 cupssifted Flour (+ excess for kneading)
  10. Clean Doughnut cutter
  11. Clean Rolling pin
  12. bowlClean
  13. Clean cloth
  14. Tray

Cooking Instructions

    In a cup containing the warm water, pour in the yeast into the warm water. Stir a little and keep aside to rise.

    In a clean bowl pour in all the remaining ingredients (ie. salt, sugar, milk, egg, and melted butter) including the mixture of yeast and water and whisk them all together.

    Add up the sifted flour into the mixture bowl little by little and be kneading as you are adding up tge flour. Keep kneading untill soft and sticky.

    Use the clean cloth and cover the bowl of dough, keep aside and allow to rise for minutes. Be checking time to time until airy and ready to knead and cut.

    Dust your table or board and rolling pin with flour. Also dust the tray with flour.

    Knead the dough in the bowl and cut the dough with your hands into 4 pieces.

  7. 7

    Roll on each of the piece and cut using the doughnut cutter.

    Place each doughnut on the dusted tray and dust the cutted ones with light flour.

  9. 9

    Cover the tray with a piece of cloth and allow to rise. Be checking time to time.

    Turn on the heat and place your frying pan with oil in it for deep frying.

  11. 11

    Fry the doughnuts few at a time (like 4 to 5 pieces) if the pan is a little big. Just make sure you give out space.

    Turn on the doughnuts after a minute in order to avoid it getting burnt.
