  1. Ingredients For The Salad
  2. 1/4 cupWhole Green Gram Sprouts
  3. 1Medium size Carrot; grated
  4. 1/2Medium size Green Bell Pepper; finely chopped
  5. 1Medium size Onion; finely sliced
  6. 1Small size Pomegranate; seeds taken off from fruit
  7. Ingredients For Dressing
  8. 1/2Green Chili; deseeded and finely chopped (adjust as per spice tolerance)
  9. 1 inchPiece of Ginger; grated
  10. Freshly squeezed juice of a small Lemon
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. 1/2 teaspoonSugar (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Combine sprouts, carrots, bell peppers, onions and pomegranate seeds in a large bowl.

    Add grated ginger and chopped green chili and combine well.

    In a separate bowl mix together lemon juice, salt and sugar.

    Pour over salad and stir well.

  5. 5

    Chill in the refrigerator and serve cold.
