Rainy season has started . My Family members demand for 'Kanda bhajji and Masala tea'. So I maked Kanda bhajji for them , which is very yummy and crispy like street food style Kanda bhajji . I'm going to share my simple and easy but crispy kanda ( onion ) bhajji or bhajiya recipe with you.

Ingredients

20 min
4 to 5 servings
  1. 4Big size onion(Kanda, pyaz)
  2. 1/4 tbspSalt or as per taste
  3. 1 cupGram flour (Besan)
  4. 1/2 tbspRed chilli powder or as per taste
  5. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  6. 1 tspAmchur powder (optional)
  7. 1/2 tspBaking soda
  8. 1hand fullChopped coriander leaves
  9. 1/4 cupWater
  10. as neededOil - for frying
  11. 1 small bowl Tomato ketchup for serving

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the onion sliced. Take out it in big bowl, add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder, baking soda, chopped coriander leaves,gram flour and water. Mix all ingredients very well and keep aside.

    Heat the oil in pan on high flame.fry the bhajiye in medium to high flame till golden brown in colour and crisp.

    Serve yummy and crispy bhajiya with tomato ketchup and hot cup of masala tea.

    Sana's note : 

    1. If you bhajiye batter is so thin add some gram flour and make thick batter for bhajiya. 

    2. If you like you can add or skip ajwain.

    3. Fry on medium to high flame not on high flame.
