Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsfinally chopped palak(spinach)
  2. 1 1/2 cupfinally chopped methi(fenugreek) leaves
  3. 1/4 cupwheat flour
  4. 1/4 cupsoya flour
  5. 2 tbsprava
  6. 2 tspoil
  7. 2 tspgreen chilli paste
  8. 2 tsp secorridor-cummin seeds powder (dhania -jeera)
  9. 1 tspsugar
  10. 1/2 tbsplemon juice
  11. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  12. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  13. 1/4 tsphing
  14. to tastesalt
  15. For tempering
  16. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  17. 12 tspseaseme seeds(til)
  18. 1/2 tsphing

Cooking Instructions

    Combine all the ingredients in a big bowl,mix well and make a soft dough,using very little water.

    Divide the dough into 3 equal parts and shape each portion into cylindrical roll.

    Arrange the rolls on a siever and steam it in a steamer for 10mins or till knife inserted in muthiyas and comes out clean.

    Remove, cool and cook into thick slices.

    Keep aside.

    Heat oil in a non -stick pan or kadai.

  7. 7

    Add mustard seeds

  8. 8

    When the seed crackles, add hing and seseame seeds.,saute on medium flame away for few seconds.

    Add muthiya,saute for few seconds on slow flame or till muthiya turn brown.
