Cooking Instructions

Sieve all the dry ingredients together

Cream butter and sugar

Beat eggs separately and add to the sugar and butter mixture.

Wash,peel and grate carrots

Prepare the buttermilk,
Put 2tspns of lemon juice and add to 230ml milk.
Let it settle for 20min - 6
Add the flour,buttermilk and carrots to the mixture alternating until well mixed.

Pre heat the oven for 5-10min at 180°c.
Put the Vinegar in a small bowl and add baking soda until a fizzy reaction is formed - 8
Line the baking pans,put the batter in the pans and put in the oven for 40min for 180°

To test for cake readiness, when a toothpick,clean knife,a fork or a skewer is inserted it comes out clean.
