Ingredients

  1. 2chicken legs
  2. 2onions
  3. 1/4red bell pepper
  4. 1/2Italian green pepper
  5. 1/2lemon zest
  6. 20fresh basil leafs
  7. 1 cancoconut milk
  8. 1/2 cupolive oil
  9. MIX of SPICES:
  10. 1 teaspoonsalt
  11. 1 tspgrounded coriander
  12. 1 tspred paprika (hot or sweet, your choice)
  13. 1 tspblack pepper
  14. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  15. 1/4 tspcinnamon powder
  16. 1/4 tspginger powder
  17. 2-3cloves
  18. 2-3seeds of cardamom
  19. 4-5garlic cloves in thin slices

Cooking Instructions

    Boil the chicken legs and then put aside the meat without skin and bones.

    Cut the onions in half slices (not too thin) and the bell pepper and the green pepper in cubes.

    Heat the oil in a large pan and add the onions and after 2 minutes add the peppers. Mix well all the time.

    After 3 minutes of high fire and mixing, add the mixture of spices and mix one more minute.

  5. 5

    Add now the meat, mix a bit and add the coconut milk also.

  6. 6

    When boiling again, lower the fire, cover the pan and let them cook for about 10 minutes.

    Stop the fire and add the basil leafs and the lemon zest, stir a bit then cover back.

  8. 8

    Serve hot with well drained long rice!
