Mashed potatoes

Heat oil and add mustard seeds. When they crackle, add the curry leaves, ginger, garlic, green chilli,whole red chillies, turmeric and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.

Add the tempering to the mashed potatoes, along with the chopped coriander leaves.

Divide the potato mixture into equal size of balls.Keep them aside.

Make a thick batter with the chickpea flour(besan) and the other ingredients.Mix them well.

Heat the oil &
When the oil is hot, dip each ball in the batter and deep fry until golden brown in colour. - 7
Serve hot with green chutney & pav
