Use a pot and add the following ingredients: onion, the cup of vegetable and olive oil, turmeric, ginger, black pepper, chickpeas, and chicken. Add 1 1/2 liters of water and let them cook.

Use 2.2 pounds (1 kilogram) of couscous, add 3 tablespoons of oil and 2 cups (about 1/2 liter) of water, and let it absorb.

When the pot boils, add butter or ghee and the couscous, then the vegetables.

When everything is ready and cooked, take a large serving dish, spread the couscous, and place the chicken and vegetables in the center. Serve with its broth.
