Decorated Vanilla Cupcakes

These were the cupcakes we made in the third video cooking workshop. It's a recipe I cherish and have been using for many years, from when I first became interested in baking and took several workshops to keep learning. We had a great time!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Lightly beat the eggs with an electric mixer until slightly foamy. Then continue beating and gradually add the sugar until the mixture thickens and lightens.
- 2
Add the oil in a thin stream while continuing to beat until fully incorporated. Then, using a spatula, gently fold in the flour and yogurt, alternating between them.
- 3
Place in cupcake liners and bake in a moderate oven until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
- 4
While they cool, prepare the buttercream. Beat the butter with the mixer for a few seconds to smooth it out. Then gradually add the powdered sugar until you've added about 3/4 of it.
- 5
Add the milk one tablespoon at a time and continue beating. I only needed to add 2 tablespoons. Don't add too much milk, or the frosting may separate. Finish adding the sugar and beat until it reaches a whipped cream-like consistency. Then add the food coloring of your choice. I recommend using gel coloring.
- 6
Put the frosting in a piping bag, preferably with a tip, and decorate the cupcakes as desired. Then just enjoy!

These are just a basic cupcake recipe, but they are some of the best I have tried. They are moist and fluffy. If you dont have the vanilla bean on hand, then use an additional 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract instead. Recipe source : Sallysbakingaddiction.com Christina -

Decorated Strawberry Cupcakes Decorated Strawberry Cupcakes
When you squeeze butter-rich cream on the cupcakes and chill them in the refrigerator, they harden easily. So I decided to make with a fluffy sponge cake base. I got the idea to gouge out the center from Chie Kato's cook book. The difference in the outcome is worth the extra effort! You don't need to add coconut, but adding it changes the texture and makes them tastier.I used cupcake holders that were quite deep so I could only make 4, but if you use regular muffin cups, I think you could probably get 5-6. If you only make 4, you'll have some strawberry cream leftover. For 4-6 cupcakes. Recipe by nyonta cookpad.japan -

Classic American Vanilla Cupcakes Classic American Vanilla Cupcakes
Since I've started living in the U.S., I've had a lot of opportunities to make cupcakes. Out of all the cupcakes I've made, this has become my go-to recipe.Since there's a lot of milk, the batter is quite soft. You can store leftover buttercream in the fridge. It will harden, but if you leave it out at room temperature before use, you can use it a second time. But anyway, be sure to beat veryyyyy well until the batter becomes light and creamy. For 6 cupcakes. Recipe by Cookie shiasu. cookpad.japan
