Ingredients

30-40 minutes
2-3 persons
  • 200 gmmethi saag,
  • 6-7 med sized aloo, cut into small pcs,
  • 1-2 tbspmustard oil,
  • 5-6 garlic cloves chopped finely,
  • 4-5 dry red chilli, broken into halves,
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder,

Steps

30-40 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly wash methi saag, chop it, again wash it, keep aside.

  2. 2

    Wash aloo, keep aside.

  3. 3

    Take a wok, add oil, heat it.

  4. 4

    Add garlic, sauté it till brown.

  5. 5

    Add dry red chilli, sauté it for a sec.

  6. 6

    Add haldi powder now, give a stir.

  7. 7

    Add methi aloo together, also add salt, stir fry it for a while.

  8. 8

    Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it till aloo is almost cooked.

  9. 9

    Open the lid, fry it till water evaporates.

  10. 10

    Increase the flame now, stir fry it for minutes. Cover it again.

  11. 11

    Switch off the flame, open the lid after a while.

  12. 12

    Take out in a serving bowl, have it with Roti or Paratha.
