Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 200 gramsPasta
  2. 1 tbspSalt
  3. Sauce ingredients
  4. 1 tbspPure olive oil
  5. 1 tspFinely chopped garlic
  6. 1Red chili (thinly sliced)
  7. Finishing touches
  8. 1 tbspExtra virgin olive oil
  9. 1Salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Let's boil the water! First, bring the water to a boil, then add 1 tablespoon of salt!

  2. 2

Now, turn the heat to medium. Spread the pasta out around the edges of the pot and boil over medium heat so as not to burn it.

  3. 3

[Point #1] Boil for 2 minutes less than the package instructions. Then, transfer to a frying pan before turning on the heat. Bring it to a boil.

  4. 4

Slowly fry the pure olive oil and garlic in the frying pan over low to medium heat until fragrant!

  5. 5

Now, once fragrant, add the red chili pepper! Watch out; if you cook the chili peppers for too long, they'll burn!

  6. 6

[Point #2] Now, add 1 ladle of the pasta boiling liquid. The reason for this is to not cook the garlic and chili peppers longer than necessary.

  7. 7

[Another reason] Now, the sauce will emulsify in the pan. It'll be easier from here on out!

  8. 8

[2 minutes before the pasta is done boiling] Take the pasta out early and toss it into the frying pan! Mix it up over low to medium heat.

  9. 9

[Point #3] Lastly, turn off the heat, drizzle with the extra virgin olive oil, and mix it well.

  10. 10

[Serving] Adjust the taste with salt and pepper while taste-testing, transfer to a plate, and enjoy!
