Bread Rolls with Birdie Faces

When I was making bread rolls the other day, I felt like creating something cute with them. You can make them easily and quickly while waiting for the oven to heat up.
When sticking on the nuts and chocolate to the dough, be sure to push them in firmly. Feel free to enjoy using whatever ingredients you have at home for the eyes and mouth. Recipe by pitachan1

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Divide the risen dough, form into balls, and let it rest.
- 2
After the dough has rested, reshape the balls again, put them on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, and use the bread-rising setting of your oven to let the dough rise again. Once the second rising is finished, preheat the oven.
- 3
While waiting for the oven to heat up, push in a nut in the center of each dough, pressing down firmly until only half of the nut is sticking out. Push in chocolate chips or raisins to both sides. You could also stick nori seaweed.

- 5
Bake the bread in the preheated oven accordingly. You could use a chocolate decorating pen to draw the eyes after baking the bread.
- 6
I recommend user Hiremama's "Sweet Maple Bread". It's so delicious.

I wanted to make cute-looking bread using my leftover custard and anko paste. This is a delicious dough even without the custard or an paste, so eat them by themselves, or add in your favorite filling.I changed the photo for the black cocoa version. Please choose whichever method you prefer.Shut off the bread machine after making the dough. These are easy to shape so I usually pack these in my bento lunchbox. I fill the rolls with chocolate, stewed apples, leftover kinpira burdock stir-fry, or patties. You won't be able to tell they are made with leftovers.Sprinkle with granulated sugar instead of powdered cheese if you're adding sweet fillings.I use low-fat milk, but you can use any kind of milk.Add the butter after kneading the mixture of the ingredients in your bread machine and the dough starts to come together. The dough will become smoother (add the butter 8 to 10 minutes after you start kneading). Recipe by putimiko cookpad.japan -
