Ingredients

  1. Large pan or skillet with lid (12" or bigger)
  2. 1 TbspOlive oil
  3. 5 linksItalian Sausage
  4. 1 TbspButter
  5. 1Large Yellow Onion
  6. 1Red Bell Pepper
  7. 1Green Bell Pepper
  8. 4 ClovesMinced Garlic
  9. 1/2 tspOregano
  10. 1/2 tspDried Basil (or 1 Tbsp Fresh Basil)
  11. 1/2 tspSalt
  12. 1/4 cupChicken Broth or Cooking White Wine
  13. 1Tomato

Cooking Instructions

    Prep starting vegetables
    - Clean peppers and slice thin
    - Slice onion
    - Dice tomato

    Bring large skillet to medium high heat, add olive oil, and add sausages. Brown outside but do not cook entirely.

    Remove sausages and set aside to cool, then cut into 1" pieces

  4. 4

    Using same pan melt butter, add more olive oil if needed. Add peppers and onion and cook for 2 minutes

  5. 5

    Add all other ingredients and cook until sausages are done. Then bring heat to medium, cover and let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove cover and serve immediately.
