Ingredients

6 servings
  1. Medium green pepper
  2. Medium onion
  3. 2celery ribs
  4. 1/4 cupcarrots
  5. 5green onion stem
  6. 2 clovesfresh garlic
  7. 2sprikles of lawrys season salt
  8. Cajun seasoning
  9. Garlic powder
  10. 1sprinkle cayenne
  11. Weber Garlic herb seasoning
  12. 1/2-- 1 cup flour and veggie oil
  13. 5bay leaves
  14. 1 teaspoonthyme
  15. 1 canchicken broth
  16. 1zatarains crab boil bag
  17. 1 bagokra
  18. 1 bagcorn on cob
  19. 1kelbska sausage rope
  20. 1smoked Sausage rope

Cooking Instructions

    Bring med- large sauce pain of water to boil with all dry seasoning and crab boil, then cover and simmer

  2. 2

    While water boiling, chop all veggies (except green onion okra, carrots, corn on cob), add sausage, and sautee instant pot, add garlic last (do not burn). (Do not add carrots or okra) then set aside

  3. 3

    Make ruox instant pot on sautee mode

  4. 4

    Peel shtimp while making ruox

  5. 5

    Take frozen okra out

  6. 6

    Add shrimp peels to pot with seasoning and bring to boil then simmer

  7. 7

    When ruox ready. Return veggies to roux along with sausage. Add half water from pot and can of chicken broth

  8. 8

    Pressure cook on high for 10 mins..allow natural release for 20-30 min..then release. Expect pressure mess so have towel ready

  9. 9

    Now turn sautee back on.add okra, green onion and shrimp. Let cook about 5 min

  10. 10

    Low pressure cook for 2 mins, natural release 10 mins

  11. 11

    Add gumbo file, stir and serve
