Authentic KFC-Style Fried Chicken

I tried out various things, but this might be the most authentic.
Coat in • while mixing it.
If you add 3-5 shakes each of paprika, ginger, chili powder, oregano, and basil (or parsley), it will taste even more authentic. Shake off the excess flour when frying. Recipe by Akkorin mama

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Pierce the chicken in several spots with a fork to release the water, place in a plastic bag with the ○ ingredients and rub it in. Squeeze out the air from the bag and let sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours to marinate.
- 2
Mix • and □ ingredients in separate bowls.
- 3
Fill a frying pan a third of the way up with oil and warm it up, then add 2 tablespoons of lard (not listed). You can use shortening if it is unavailable. It tastes better if you use it, but it's okay if you don't have it.
- 4
Wipe off the moisture from Step 1, dip into the • ingredients and then the □ bowls. Fry both sides at 180℃ for 5 minutes each, then turn up the heat to high and fry for about 40~50~60 seconds.
- 5
This time I used 600 g chicken wings, then combined the leftover • and □ and fried the cartilage. It was crispy, and the kids loved it.

Simple Faux KFC Fried Chicken Simple Faux KFC Fried Chicken
I revised a version of brine often used in American households to suit Japanese households. The preparation in making the salt water is the same as that used in Belarus for removing radiation (water-soluble particles are removed by salt osmosis). You don't have to be very exacting with the amount of water; as long as there is enough to cover the chicken when placed in the plastic bag.Adjust the amount of salt to taste. I use nearly equal amounts of salt and sugar. For best results, keep them as equal as possible. For serving 4-5. Recipe by pogue cookpad.japan -

There are so many versions of the Colonel's classic recipe, I thought I'd have a crack too. I decided to poach the chicken first so that it remains moist, requires less cooking in the fryer, and absorbs less oil. Tex -
Pinguy's Fried Chicken - KFC Style Chicken Recipe Pinguy's Fried Chicken - KFC Style Chicken Recipe
Been messing around with this recipe for a good while now. It started out as a KFC clone but has evolved into it's own thing. This is a family favourite that we have once a fortnight. You don't have to poach the chicken before frying but it does improve the texture and taste. Plus it also gives you a chicken stock that you can use to make a gravy. See my recipes on how to make KFC style gravy with the left over seasoned breading flour and the poached chicken water/stock. Pinguy -

Jang Style Chicken - Recreating KFC Chicken Jang Style Chicken - Recreating KFC Chicken
I was so amazed at how delicious the Jang Sauce Chicken at KFC was, and I immediately got to recreating the dish. Actually, I was successful with my first try (lol). The key is to add curry powder into the crust ♪You should definitely taste the real thing at KFC!★ I used granulated sugar.★ My gochujang is fairly spicy, but the result won't be too hot since the sugar gives it a sweet flavor. If you're into spicy food, you can add more gochujang if you'd like. Recipe by Homard Ebiko cookpad.japan -

I tried preparing this kara-age in many different ways, but this was the most delicious! The oyster sauce is optional.Double frying makes it easier to burn your ingredients, so as soon as the color changes, quickly take them out of the oil. These also taste great with salt and pepper.
