Childproof cauliflower bake with chickenburgers
This is my weekly addition for the children I cook for on friday. Comfort food at its best.
Cooking Instructions

Clean and cut the cauliflower in rosettes.

Cook the cauliflower. Do not overcook it please. Drain and keep 200 cl of cooking juice

Meanwhile clean and cook patatos.

Drain the patatos and put them back on the fire to dry fully

Make a mash. Eather use a masher or puree maker. Put in the 25 gr butter and the100 ml warm milk.

Season with salt pepper and nutmeg. When the mash is slightly cooled put in the egg yolk

Now make the cheese sauce

Melt 50 gr butter. Put in 50 gr of flower. Wisk and let cook for a few minutes. Do not let it color. Put in the cold milk. Wisk vigourasly until you get a lump free sauce. Add the cooking liquid. And wisk again.

Add 50 gr of cheese, and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg

Take a oven tin and put in the mash

Put on the cauliflower

Put on the cheese sauce

Put on the rest of the cheese and the bread crumbs

Put in a preheated oven(180°C) with grill for 20 min.keep warm

Cook the burgers

Serve. This is also nice when you put minced meat in the bake instead of burgers
