Cabbage manchurian is a delicious Indo-Chinese dish made with wisps of vegetables formed into dumplings and dunked into a sauce with a gorgeous interplay of hot, sweet, sour and salty flavors.

Cabbage manchurian is a delicious Indo-Chinese dish made with wisps of vegetables formed into dumplings and dunked into a sauce with a gorgeous interplay of hot, sweet, sour and salty flavors.

For Manchurian Balls

In a mixing bowl, take 2 cups of shredded cabbage.

To this shredded cabbage add red chili powder, black pepper powder, garlic-ginger paste and salt to taste

Next, add 2 tbsp of cornflour and 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour.

Mix everything very well so all the masalas and flours are well coated on the shredded cabbage.

Once the mixture is ready, make small Manchurian size balls

Now, in a pan heat enough oil for deep frying.Check the oil if it is ready and once it is, carefully put the Manchurian balls in it.

Fry the Manchurian until it turns golden brown.

Place the balls on a kitchen tissue to soak away the extra oil.

For making the gravy

In a different pan, heat about 1 tbsp of Oil. You can use the leftover oil that you used for frying the balls.

Add finely chopped garlic to the hot oil. Fry until the garlic turns golden brown.

Next, add the spring onion whites. Fry them until they become translucent.

Now add the sauces of red chili sauce, soy sauce tomato ketchup. Mix it nicely.

Add about 1.5 cups of water into this and then add some salt and black pepper powder to taste.

Now, mix 1 tbsp of cornflour with 3-4 tbsp of water. Mix them very well and then put this into our gravy. This helps to thicken our gravy.

And finally, add our Manchurian balls into the gravy. Coat the balls well with the gravy and let it cook for a minute.

Garnish with spring onion greens. And serve with fried rice and enjoy!
