Cabbage Parathas

A healthy version of Paratha with Cabbage as the main ingredient. This is a no onion no garlic recipe too. There are actually two methods of doing this Paratha. One is that of using the finely shredded Cabbage in the flour directly and making the dough. The other is using it as a stuffing as done for other versions. Both the ways these taste delicious and make a healthy option for Breakfast.

Knead a smooth dough out of all the ingredients mentioned for the paratha dough.

Heat a tablespoon of Oil in a pan. Add grated Ginger and chopped Green chillies. Saute these well for a minute and then add the Carom and the Cumin Seeds. Now add the shredded Cabbage. Mix well and saute on a medium flame for 10-12 minutes. Do not over cook it. Add Salt in the end to avoid it becoming watery.

Sprinkle Chat masala and Garam masala both. Don't forget to squeeze some Lemon juice too. Garnish with chopped Coriander Leaves. Divide the dough into equal sized balls. Use this mix as a stuffing in each of the Parathas.

Roll gently and roast them all on a hot griddle or a tawa using Oil or Ghee. Serve them hot with White Butter and Raita. Yum!
