Heat a pan. Add ghee. Then add mustard and hing. Turn off burner when mustard splatters. Your seasoning is ready

In a blender, add coconut, red chillies, tamarind and salt. First grind it without adding water. Then add water and grind. Make a course paste.

To the above chutney add seasoning and mix well. Your chutney is ready.

Goes well with dosa, idli, chapathi and Pongal.
