Firstly cook Toor Dal along with tomatoes in pressure cooker adding little water and turmeric powder.blend it with a blender..add salt,chilli powder and tamarind pulp..

Add required amount of water...(should be thin in consistency)...let it boil for 10 minutes

Now add tempering of mustard, cumin,curry leaves,red chilli,crushed garlic,pepper corns,asafoetida in ghee.you can add chopped coriander leaves and enjoy with steamed rice....
