Delicious Masala Pulao Recipe. Easy, quick and one pot meal served with Baingan Tawa Fry, French Beans Fry and Curd Raita. This Pulao can be easily made with whatever vegetables are available in your kitchen pantry.

Steps

Firstly, before beginning, assemble all the required ingredients. Wash and chop the vegetables.

In a small mixing bowl, add all the ingredients mentioned under the heading “To Be Mixed Together “. Mix it well and set it aside.

Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes.

Heat a kadai. Add oil and butter. Add the sliced onions and saute until golden brown. Next add all the ingredients mentioned under “Whole Spices” and saute it well.

Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes away. Next add the slited green chillies and the chopped tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are soft.

Add the chopped vegetables and mix it well. Cover and cook on low flame for about 5-6 minutes. (You can add veggies of your choice eg. green peas, cauliflower etc.)

Now add the curd-spice mixture and mix it well. Saute it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.

Add the soaked rice and water and mix it gently. Cover and cook on high flame till the water dries ie. for about 7-8 minutes. Now reduce the flame and cover and cook for 7-8 minutes. Switch off the flame and keep covered for 15 minutes.

Delicious Masala Pulao is ready to serve. Enjoyed it with curd raita, baingan tawa fry and french beans fry.
