Crispy, Crunchy and Delicious Scallion (Spring Onion) Crackers. Spring Onions are my favorite. It makes any dish aromatic. These crackers are also known as crunchy salty cookies, a delight to eat as it is or alongwith a creamy dip. I have made thick and thin crackers. Both were amazing. The thinner ones were super crunchy. Once cooled, these crackers can be stored in an airtight container.

Crispy, Crunchy and Delicious Scallion (Spring Onion) Crackers. Spring Onions are my favorite. It makes any dish aromatic. These crackers are also known as crunchy salty cookies, a delight to eat as it is or alongwith a creamy dip. I have made thick and thin crackers. Both were amazing. Firstly, in a large mixing bowl add the finely chopped scallions, salt, oil, milk, yeast and baking powder and mix it well.

Next add the all-purpose flour and mix it well.

Add the sesame seeds and knead until the dough is formed.

Cover the bowl with a cling wrap or a cloth and set the dough aside for 30 minutes.

Place the dough on a baking paper. Place another sheet of baking paper on the dough. Roll the dough into thin sheets and cut them into any shape you like.

Place these crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them. Prick the crackers with a fork.

Sprinkle the surface of the crackers with salt.

Pre-heat the oven to 180•C with heat up and down ie. Using top and bottom heating element. Bake the crackers at 180•C, at medium height of the oven, with heat up and down for 15 minutes until golden and crisp. Time will depend on the thickness of the crackers. If thick, then 20 minutes. Transfer them from the baking paper to a wire rack to cool. Once cooled, they become crunchy.

Super Crunchy Scallion (Spring Onion) Crackers are ready. Serve them as it is or alongwith a creamy dip.
