Classic, Effortless! Juicy Stuffed Bell Peppers

No need to flip them—just steam and let them cook, resulting in juicy and vibrantly colored bell peppers. The seasoning is inspired by shumai, with a slightly sweet oyster sauce flavor that makes them irresistible.

Steps
- 1
Remove the seeds from the bell peppers and cut them in half, then lightly coat with flour to prevent the meat mixture from separating.
- 2
Finely chop the onion and mix it with the ground pork and ★ ingredients to make the meat mixture.
- 3
Generously fill the bell peppers with the meat mixture. Note: The meat will shrink when cooked.
- 4
Do not turn on the heat yet. Arrange the bell peppers with the meat side down, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and 1/4 cup (50ml) of water, cover, and then turn on the heat to medium. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
- 5
Once the water has evaporated and the meat side is nicely browned, they are done. Note: Only cook the meat side.
