Beat the eggs and malt syrup together until smooth, then strain the mixture.

Add the milk and stir well, then mix in the coffee and vanilla extract.

Pour the mixture into individual ramekins and cover each tightly with aluminum foil. Cut a few small slits in the foil to let steam escape.

Steam the flan over low heat for 25 minutes.

Once cooked, let the flan cool, then refrigerate before serving for the best taste.
