Ingredients

4 -5peiple
  1. 1totapuri mango
  2. 2 tbssliced onion
  3. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1 tspjaggery powder
  5. 2green chilli
  6. leavesCoriander
  7. For seasoning:
  8. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  9. 1/4 tspurud dal
  10. 1green chilli
  11. 2red chilli
  12. leavesCurry
  13. 2 tspghee
  14. 1/2spoon asafoetida

Cooking Instructions

    Take all the needed ingredients. In a cooker take required amount of water and keep the mango and chilli. Close the lid and wait for 1 whistle. For spicy,we can add more chillies.

    Once the pressure is released, take out the boiled mango and cool it down. Then peel it off and collect the flesh.

    Now we can use the boiled water which has the flavours of mango. Mash the flesh and chilli as much as possible and mix it with boiled water. You can add the required amount of water again.

    Then, add salt,sliced onion and turmeric powder. Now turn on the stove and boil it. Once it started boiling add jaggery powder and check salt level. Keep boiling for 3mts.

    In the mean time,in a dhadka pan,add ghee and do seasoning. And mix with rasam and turn off the stove.

    Thats it. This rasam consistency is watery and full of raw mango flavour and Delicious.
