Ingredients

  • 1whole chicken cut into serving pieces
  • 36 ozchicken broth or rice eashing
  • 2chayote cut into wedges
  • 2 cupspinach
  • 5 clovesgarlic minced
  • 1medium onion chopped
  • 1thumb ginger, cut into strips
  • 2 tbspfish sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pot and sauté garlic, onion and ginger

    Add chicken and cook until color turns brown on both sides

  3. 3

    Add fish sauce and mix for 2 minutes

  4. 4

    Pour chicken broth or rice washing and bring to boil then simmer for 30 minutes

    Add chayote and simmer for 5 minutes

  6. 6

    Add spinach and salt and pepper for taste as necessary

  7. 7

    Serve hot by itself or with white steamed rice. Enjoy!
