Malbar Spinach Raw Curry

It is very traditional dish in Mangalore without oil.
Steps

For raw masala... blend all ingredients under raw masala to the smooth paste by adding required amount of water, keep aside.

Chop the basale soppu / malabar spinach roughly

Chop stem 2" long and cook it by adding water and soaked green gram, without salt.

After well cook add spinach and salt.

After transulant add the ground masala.

Bring it to boil vigorously 10 minutes.

If you need add seasoning of mustard seeds, red chilli and garlic.(it is optional)

Serve it with rice or rice kadubu.
