  • 2EX LG Spaghetti Squash [halved]
  • DashGranulated Garlic Powder
  • DashGranulated Onion Powder
  • DashFresh Ground Black Pepper
  • as neededOlive Oil Spray [to seal seasonings on squash]
  • ● For The Sauce
  • 1 lb80/20 Hamburger Meat [drained - optional]
  • 2LG Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/2Chopped Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/2Chopped Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 1/2Chopped Orange Bell Pepper
  • 1/2Chopped Green Bell Pepper
  • 1/3 CupChopped Red Onions
  • 4 ozCan Minced Black Olives
  • 1/3 CupChopped Vidalia Onions
  • 1/3 CupChopped Green Onions
  • 2 tbspChopped Sun Dried Tomatoes
  • 1 (4 oz)Can Drained Chopped Mushrooms
  • 2 tbspFine Minced Garlic
  • 2 CansSpaghetti Sauce
  • 1 tspFresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tbspGranulated Sugar [or more]
  • 1 tspDried Oregano
  • 2 tspPureed Basil
  • 2Bay Leaves
  • 1/3 CupQuality Red Wine
  • 1-4 ozCan Tomato Paste
  • DashQuality Olive Oil
  • 1/2 CupShredded Parmesan Cheese [+ reserves for topping]
  • ● For The Sides
  • Toasted Garlic Bread [with garlic butter]

Steps

  1. 1

    Here's the bulk of what you'll need. Rough chop all vegetables.

    Saute your vegetables in olive oil for 5 minutes. Add everything to your pot - except for squash - and simmer for 30 minutes.

    Use a quality deep red wine.

    Season squash and spray with olive oil.

    Place in a 350° oven for 60 minutes.

    Shread squash with a fork and place in bowls.

    Toast your garlic bread until crispy.

    Serve sauce over noodles with garlic bread and a quality red wine. Garnish with shredded parmesan and fresh parsley. Enjoy!

My culinary specialties as an easy going Chef include Asian, Mexican, Cajun, BBQing, Grilling, Irish Pub food, Low Country foods, anything seafood related, extra spicy foods, fresh meat, extra fresh vegetables, US comfort, kid friendly and super fast, quick and easy foods. But, I'll literally put anything in my mouth at least once. Pfft! My daddy didn't nickname me, "Goat," at two years of age for nothin'! Yup! I'll literally put anything in my mouth at least once!P.S. Most ALL of my recipes posted on this site were soley submitted by my youngest 6, 7 and 8 year old culinary students. Mostly recipes for the homeless and battered women's shelters they regularly cook for. That means ANYONE can make these super easy, crazy delicious recipes!Lastly, my only culinary motto?
