Another way to get finicky eaters of Spinach to try something new. Low-carb.

Ingredients

  1. 2 tablespoonsbutter
  2. 1 tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
  3. 1medium onion diced
  4. 1/2 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoonground nutmeg
  6. To tastesalt
  7. To tasteground black pepper
  8. 1/2 cupcream
  9. 20 ouncesfrozen Spinach
  10. 1/2 cupalmonds

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Chop the Spinach and dice the onion. In a pan heat the oil add the onion and sauté till tender. and butter. Add the butter when melted add the Spinach. Add salt and pepper.

    Sauté for 10 minutes. Add the garlic. Incorporate the spices well.

  3. 3

    Add the cream. Let it simmer till the cream is reduced by half.

  4. 4

    Toast the almonds and chop them up. Add to the top of the finished Spinach.
