Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cupleftover dal
  2. 1small boiled grated potato
  3. 1small chopped onion
  4. SomeChopped coriander
  5. 1Chopped green chilli
  6. 1/2 cupbread crumbs
  7. 3/4 cupcoarsely roasted peanuts
  8. As requiredSalt
  9. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala
  11. 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper
  12. 3/4 teaspoonblack salt
  13. 2 tbsprice flour
  14. As requiredOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a bowl.Add dal,potato,onion,coriander,green chilli,bread crumbs,peanuts, red chilli powder,black pepper,black salt, garam masala and rice flour.
    Mix it well.

  2. 2

    Make a dough.Take some portion from dough and make it round shape.
    Keep aside.

  3. 3

    Take pre heated pan, add oil. When oil is hot put tikki on tawa and
    cook it from both sides for 2 minutes each on medium flame till gets golden brown. Dal tikki is ready. Transfer it on plate. Serve it with any chutney and sauce.Enjoy…!

  4. 4

    Note – I have used arhar yellow dal. You may use any left over yellow dal.
