Ingredients

  1. 3 1/4 cupflour
  2. 300 gbutter
  3. 3/4 cupsugar
  4. 1 teaspoonground cardamom
  5. 5/16 cupalmonds, halves
  6. 1/2 teaspoonsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350 F.

    In a bowl soften the butter. Add in the sugar and mix until well blended.

    Slowly mix in the flour, cardamom and salt and knead into a dough.

  4. 4

    Divide the dough into small equal balls and form them into flat circular cookies.

    Put an almond half on top of each cookie.

  6. 6

    Bake them in a greased baking pan for 20 minutes.

    Remove from oven and let cool before storing in an airtight container.

I baked these yesterday. They really taste good, and even improve the day after. Next time, I think I might add a bit more cardamon as its taste was really light
