Ingredients

  1. For marination
  2. 1 kiloCleaned chicken
  3. 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
  4. 1/2 tbspRed chilli powder
  5. 2 tablespoonPepper powder
  6. 2 tablespoonYoghurt
  7. 1 tbspLemon juice
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. For preparing gravy
  10. 1 cupSliced onion
  11. 6Cashewnut
  12. as neededBadam few
  13. 1/2 cupTomato puree
  14. 1 tablespoonGinger garlic paste
  15. 2 tbspChilli powder
  16. 1 tablespoonTurmeric powder
  17. 1/2 tbspCoriander powder
  18. 1/2 tbspCumin powder
  19. 1/2 tspChat masala
  20. 1/2 tbspGaram masala powder
  21. 1 tablespoonKasuri methi
  22. 2 tablespoonYoghurt
  23. 1/2 cupFresh cream or full fat milk
  24. Charcoal

Cooking Instructions

    Marinade chicken with ingredients under marination. Let it rest for half an hour

  2. 2

    Half Cook marinated chicken with little oil. Remove it into another pan

  3. 3

    Saute onion badam and cashews with a spoon of oil.

  4. 4

    Allow it to cool and grind into fine paste with 2 cardamom 2 cloves and small piece of cinnamon

  5. 5

    Add little oil pan add ginger garlic paste, once it's done add tomato puree along with all the masala powders.

    Cook until the raw smell of masala powder goes and oil separates.

  7. 7

    Add yoghurt. Mix well then add the chicken combine everything well. Close and cook for a minute. To it add the onion paste along with some water.

    Cook for about another few minutes once it's done add cream and kasuri methi.

  9. 9

    For giving a Smoky flavour, smoke achha call please retina for oil paper and keep it on the curry add a spoon of oil to the charcoal close the lid for 5 minutes.
