Cooking Instructions

Take oil add pinch of asofoetida

To this add cumin seeds

Add onion and tomatoes

With turmeric and red chilli powder

Add salt and ginger garlic paste and give it a stir with green chillies

Once it's nicely cooked add washed dal

Pressure cook till 2 whistles or till done add required amount of water to it now your dal is ready

Now lets prepare making tadka.Take oil add asofoetida

Crushed garlic and slit green chillies

Once garlic turns golden brown add curry leaves

Add mustard and cumin seeds

Chopped coriander leaves and kasuri methi

Lastly add red chilli powder

Put your bagaar in your dal
- 15
Now here comes beautiful twist in your dal, heat coal and add this to your dal pour some ghee and garam masala powder on coal to give it awesome smoke.cover for 2 to 3 minutes
