Silly shrimp! Definitely not a cocktail for the faint of heart or the lightweight. While she is one refreshing, crispy and totally tummy filling cocktail - she's also super stiff and oh so spicy! I usually make these by the pitcher full to save time when I'm busy entertaining. To the side, consider serving homemade warm salty tortillas chips with my extra spicy Habenero Salsa recipe for the full, "wake me up," experience! Excellent for Sunday mornings!

  • 1.5 ozSpicy V8 Juice [chilled & well shaken]
  • 4 DashesTabasco Sauce [chilled & shaken]
  • 2 DashesHabenero Tabasco Sauce [chilled & shaken]
  • to tasteFresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 DashRed Pepper Flakes
  • 1 DashGarlic Powder
  • 1 DashOnion Powder
  • 1 dashHorseradish [optional]
  • 1 DashWorshestershire Sauce
  • ● For The Proteins [6 per glass]
  • as neededJumbo Steamed Chilled Shrimp
  • ● For The Vegetables & Fruits [as needed - all chilled]
  • Lime Wedges
  • Lemon Wedges
  • Jumbo Green Olives
  • SprigsChive Lengths [with bulbs]
  • Whole Pickled Jalapeños
  • Whole Cherry Tomatoes
  • Whole Radishes
  • Pickled Asparagus Lengths
  • Celery Stalks [with leaves]
  • Whole Peperoncinis

  • Colorful Cocktail Spears
  • Colorful Cocktail Stirs
  • Glasses[with lime rim edges & dipped in salt or tabasco salt]

    Here's what you'll need. Add all of your ingredients in your ● Fluids Section and shake well. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in salt. Fill glasses with crushed ice.

    Fill chilled glasses with cocktail fluids. Add your shrimp to your glass rim and add whatever chilled vegetables and fruits you desire. Serve with warm chips, chilled salsa and cocktail sauce to the side.

My culinary specialties as an easy going Chef include Asian, Mexican, Cajun, BBQing, Grilling, Irish Pub food, Low Country foods, anything seafood related, extra spicy foods, fresh meat, extra fresh vegetables, US comfort, kid friendly and super fast, quick and easy foods. But, I'll literally put anything in my mouth at least once. Pfft! My daddy didn't nickname me, "Goat," at two years of age for nothin'! Yup! I'll literally put anything in my mouth at least once!P.S. Most ALL of my recipes posted on this site were soley submitted by my youngest 6, 7 and 8 year old culinary students. Mostly recipes for the homeless and battered women's shelters they regularly cook for. That means ANYONE can make these super easy, crazy delicious recipes!Lastly, my only culinary motto?
